Mailing List

What to Include in a mailing list?

we need a mailing list to invite people to our event so we need to include :

  • what the event is - the event is The Push photography exhibition
  • who we are -Salford Shutter Up
  • where the event is -The Old Pint Pot
  • when the event is -10 th march
  • what time -3pm-6pm

we need to sound professional so we need to use language more formal  like yours sincerely to finish the email but not too formal as the event is not a formal event so no to whom this concerns or dear....  I font it to be personal a formal standard email.Maybe include the reasons behind the exhibition and also include the poster to give them idea of our work.

Press Release

Student Photography Exhibition
“The Push”
10 MARCH 2016-3PM-6PM

A collection of photography exhibited in The Old Pint Pot in Salford. Presenting work from 4 students (Joe Mulpeter, Alice Tulane, Lia Jackson & Charlotte Vastano) This photography work is based on the tragic story of the Manchester serial killer “The Pusher” that connects over 80 people found dead in the Manchester canals since 2008.

As a group we have researched this story that references to the story and collaborates with our work. Producing photography that reflects on the evidence we found whilst building up our work. Using true facts from each story and creating documentary style photography that include re-enactment images.

Come along to The Old Pint Pot on the 10th March at 3PM-6PM, with free parking and refreshments to enjoy whilst looking at our work. Enjoy!

i will send this press release to the Salford star so hopefully they can publish it and get more people to the event
